About Mountain American Medical

The clinical problem first. The right technology second.

Mountain American Medical Technology is an independent sales partner based in Alpine, Utah, serving Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. We represent a deliberately short list of manufacturers whose products address the mechanism of injury, and we stay involved after delivery so the technology actually works for the patient in front of you.

Advancing patient outcomes. Empowering clinicians. Maximizing healthcare ROI.

Who we serve

Built around the people at the bedside, and the people who fund it

Clinicians & nurses

Bedside teams are held accountable for preventing pressure injuries while working without visibility. We bring tools that show where pressure is building, surfaces that redistribute it when turning isn't possible, and lifts that protect the caregiver on every transfer, plus in-service education delivered where the patient actually is.

Physicians & wound care leaders

For wound care physicians, surgeons, and specialists managing Stage III and IV injuries, flaps, and grafts, we match the surface to the clinical indication and support evaluations on your unit.

Patients & families

Patients move from the ICU to skilled nursing to home. We support continuity across those transitions, including veterans recovering at home through VA Prosthetics, so protective equipment follows the patient.

Facilities & health systems

Supply chain, value analysis, and administrators need decisions they can defend. We bring objective data, clear acquisition options set by the manufacturer (rental or capital), and fluency in VA and federal procurement.

Why Mountain American

An independent partner, not another vendor

We have a deliberately narrow focus: wounds and pressure injuries, across every care setting from the ICU to the home. We vet devices against the mechanism of injury and represent the manufacturers whose products earned it.

Deep Clinical Relationships

40+ years of medical device experience and trusted relationships with clinicians, materials managers, and administrators across acute, post-acute, and homecare settings in the region.

VA & Government Procurement

Fluent in the contract vehicles and processes that matter to federal facilities.

Localized, Dedicated Support

Local clinical specialists who follow the patient from the ICU through skilled nursing and into the home — not a distant national account rep.

Outcomes-Driven Selection

Every product we represent earned its place by addressing the mechanism of injury — we match that technology to the patient in front of you.

For manufacturers

A focused go-to-market partner for small and mid-sized manufacturers

Great technology doesn't help patients if it never reaches the bedside. Many of the most useful products in healthcare come from small and mid-sized manufacturers that don't have a dedicated sales force in every region. That's who we focus on: manufacturers whose products make a real difference in care. We represent them to the clinicians, facilities, and VA teams we work with every day.

Focus areas we support

Software

Digital tools that support clinical teams and care operations.

Clinical intelligence

Bedside monitoring, visualization, and data that turn guesswork into evidence.

Training & clinical education

Programs that build competency and keep protocols working at the bedside.

Large capital equipment

Beds, therapeutic surfaces, and patient handling systems.

Rental programs

Rental and operating-expense models that let a facility start without a capital request.

Disposables

The everyday products that prevention and wound protocols depend on.

These are the areas we focus on as we evaluate new manufacturers. The lines we represent today are listed on our Manufacturers page.

Service agreements: support that continues after delivery

We're building a service agreement offering so facilities and manufacturers get more than a transaction. The goal is simple: keep equipment performing, keep staff confident, and keep the evidence flowing long after the install.

For facilities

A longer-term relationship focused on keeping clinical teams supported and equipment working for patients after the sale.

For manufacturers

A partner that stays engaged after the first order, helping products get adopted and used as intended.

Service agreements are in development. Details will be announced. Manufacturer warranties and manufacturer service programs remain with the manufacturer.
